You enjoy using Apple products and reading about things going on in the wild world of Apple, right? Of course you do! If you didn’t you wouldn’t be here reading our site. How would you like to do more than just read the news? Are you interested in writing about and reporting the news? Now is your chance! Apple Related is looking for a few self-motivated and responsible individuals to expand our news team.
Our news position is initially a volunteer only position, however with handwork, sacrifice and dedication it could quickly become something that provides you an income. Yes, the position could turn into a paid opportunity for those individuals that show the dedication and willingness to help make Apple Related the number one destination for anything Apple related.
We aren’t looking for just any Johnny Appleseed. Here are a few things we are looking for in our new team members:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Apple Related is a US based website, and we expect our writers to use the English (US) language. We do not care where you are from, but you must keep this in mind.
- Must be able to summarize articles from other sources in your own words.
- You must be able to contribute on a regular basis. Ideally, we would like to see a minimum of three articles written each day.
- Experience with WordPress (3.0) and HTML is a major plus.
- The ability to take screenshots and edit images (crop, resize and save are the main things). Photoshop is not required; you can use Pixelmator, GIMP, MS Paint or any other image editing application you are familiar with.
- Must be willing to take criticism.
- Experience with Apple products is a must. It can be as simple as an iPod or as elaborate as a multi-Mac office, but we want to know that you use the products you will be writing about.

- The subject line should state “Apple Related News Editor Position”
- In the body of your email, include:
- Your real first and last name.
- A short bio of yourself to be included on the “About Us” page if you are selected. You may want to include what Apple products you own or have owned as well as how long you have been using Apple products.
- A copy of (or link to) your current resume or a summary of your experience.
- Any certifications you have, if not mentioned in your resume.
- Two recently written articles or blog posts about Apple or technology.
Applications that do not include the information above will not be reviewed for consideration.
Initially all articles written by new team members will undergo a supervisory review. However, team members will eventually be given the ability to publish their own articles. You will receive credit for any article published, however once published they become property of Apple Related and may not be republished on other sites without written approval. Team members may also be asked to contribute news to other sites in our network.
