Apple has finally announced September 1st as the date for the annual iPod event, putting to end months of speculation one when the event would be. We still do not know what exactly will be announced, however it has been highly rumored that Apple will announce the fourth generation iPod Touch with a camera and possible FaceTime support, a new iPod Nano, and even an iOS based Apple TV with cloud based features or 99-cent TV show rentals.
The event will be held at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco, CA at 10 am PT / 1pm ET.
