Android phone owners with a nostalgia for Nintendo or more specifically Super Mario Bros. should check out a new “live wallpaper” available in the Android App Marketplace [link]. Dubbed Super Mario Live, the wallpaper will run Mario through three randomly generated levels (outside, underground, and castle).
While completely useless, it does produce a bit of a cool factor for a little bit. Though be warned, running the live background will cut through your battery life like a hot knife through butter. Though the app does provide some options options such as FPS adjustment and disabling background colors which will spare your battery a little.
While it is completely useless, I have to admit that I have a little bit of Android envy right now. [Talk Android]
